Ras Mohamed and Tiran Island provide some of the most colorful reefs and icon wrecks of Northen Red Sea area. Ras Mohamed is a national marine park with abundant marine life. The Strait of Tiran, situated at the beginning of the Gulf of Aqaba, includes extraordinary diversity of corals, pelagics, reefs (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon) and wrecks (SS Thistlegorm).
